Astrology With Echo: Virgo Season

As we leave behind the fiery, boldness of Leo Season (check out our article on Leo Season over here!), we welcome the wholesome goodness and vitality of Virgo season. It’s time to get organised and make good decisions for our mind, body and soul.

As Virgo is an earth sign, the zodiac is closely linked to the body. They’re very grounded people and are ubiquitous for making wise, smart decisions. They tend to be very logical and practical, to the point that people may perceive them as rigid, so that’s something they should be wary about. As life takes unexpected twists and turns – virgos need to learn to adapt accordingly.

Their ruling planet is Mercury. The planet represents the tenets of communication, rationality and reasoning – which complements the detail-oriented zodiac. Those ruled by Mercury, tend to make educational guesses and rely less on their instincts. Virgos are proficient at figuring out other people’s intentions and assessing their behaviours. This means that details, be it major or minor, rarely escapes their notice. The main way Virgos show their love and appreciation for those around them, is through acts of service. They’re always willing to help those who they care for without hesitation. However, they have a hard time opening up to other people and letting them know when they’re in need of help. Thus, they tend to bottle up their emotions, which never ends well.

Another positive trait that Virgos possess, is their calm and collected exterior. No matter how chaotic life can get, Virgos will maintain their composure. This is one of their greatest advantages, as they don’t let hardships faze them. Virgos also bear the virtuous trait of unparalleled patience which can pull them through difficult and sticky situations.

When it comes to their negative traits, Virgos can be hyper critical and judgemental towards others. As perfectionists themselves, they may have a tendency to point out the shortcomings of those around them. Although they do this with the best of intentions, as they only want people to be the best versions of themselves, it can come across as condescending and hurt people’s feelings.

Apart from that, Virgos tend to open to people really slowly. They don’t jump into things and take time to commit to a friendship. This may come off as rude to some people, but they fail to realise that Virgos are just selective of who they let into their lives and it doesn’t have anything to do with personal prejudices.

Now let’s take a look at the different aspects of this meticulous zodiac’s life:

1. Love and Relationships

When it comes to love, Virgos require a certain level or degree of security before they deem themselves able and willing to open up their soft, vulnerable heart to their significant other. On this account, gradually building trust with a Virgo is clearly imperative and one’s effort would eventually be paid off when Virgo starts reciprocating their actions, upon seeing the extra mile they went.

It isn’t often that Virgo will openly proclaim their love like saying a simple “I love you” to your face. Instead, it is shown via intimacy which means their actions speak volumes. It may be expressed either through a warm hug, tight holding of the hand or tender kisses that are sure to make your heart flutter and your stomach to do some flips.

The ideal, compatible romantic partners for Virgo are Taurus, Cancer and Pisces, as they gravitate on a similar wavelength and thus, would find that they’re able to understand one another better.

2. Friends and Family

As friends, Virgos are dubbed as excellent advisors, and have a knack for resolving problems. In a situation which requires intensive problem-solving, they would definitely come in handy and it would be undeniably useful to have them around, as they provide much needed assistance. However, owing to their analytical trait, it brings out their inner need to search for problems in just about anything and everything around them.

Virgos care for their friends, seeking to develop long-lasting bonds with them which they will cherish for many years to come. All a Virgo asks for in friendships are simply just good deeds done.

Virgos may be able to find a potential best friend figure in Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces as they share similar values and are able to form healthy, intellectual communication.

In terms of family, they’re dedicated in the sense that they’re attentive to their family members (when someone is feeling under the weather, or stressed out, or feeling down etc). Virgos understand tradition and the significance of responsibility which means every family member has their own tasks to attend to such as chores around the house.

They’re remarkably proud of their upbringing and whatever life events that were thrown their way, moulding them into the person that they are today.

3. Wealth and Career

They possess inherent traits like being practical, analytical and hardworking as well as being able to locate the root of any problems. Career-wise, jobs requiring great organization skill, handling copious paperwork, intensive problem-solving (which makes the gears in their head turn) are best-suited towards them.

Being scrupulous and focused, do expect nothing short of perfection when it comes to the fruit of their labour. Virgos make good critics, owing to their deep appreciation for books and artistic expression. Also, with an innate need to help other humans, they can consider becoming doctors, nurses or psychologists.

With regards to finance management, as Virgos are practical individuals, they’ll only spend when necessary, saving most of their cash for possible rainy days (like the current predicament we’re all in). They would tend to refrain from spending irrationally and view self-indulgence as a bad habit.

The downside to this is that others would often view them as being cheapskates. Thus, instead of being so restrictive with their finances, it would be great if they could display some form of hedonism every once in a while.

Due to the high trust levels amongst them, Virgos may find they work well with, and around Cancer, Scorpio and Capricorn.

Generally, the signs which are ideally compatible with a Virgo would be Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

And that’s a wrap! Well, that was an eventful ride learning about this fascinating zodiac that is represented by the Virgin.
