We’ve all had that “Oh my god what do I do now” moment. Enduring long and cringy silences, explaining a joke to a bunch of people who didn’t get it (and worse, having them still not understand), high-fives left unnoticed, your crush standing beside you as you grapple for something - no, anything! - to say, only to later regret what just came tumbling out of your cheeseburger-filled mouth…
Awkwardness is real. So what can we do about it?
Written by Ng Li Wei - “I know you.” It’s night-time. A moon has risen over the dimly lit streets and several pedestrians are hurrying home, glancing fearfully up at the thundering sky.
A bell rings - a customer entering a convenience store. A boy looks left and right and behind him before he crosses the road - not to look out for cars, but to make sure no one’s following him. Soft music gently bubbles through the air from a cafe and the sound of clinking glasses along with loud, unruly cheers erupt from a nearby bar. The owner of a bookstore is sitting by the counter......

Arin woke to pouring rain. It sounded like someone was trying to drown the world in rain, which she respected, as a college student who had an 8am class. Still, if she didn’t get that sweet sweet 80 percent attendance, she wouldn’t even have the opportunity to flunk out of Physics.
Lost in thought, she dumped her bag on her seat and was suddenly and rudely acquainted with someone’s butt on her desk.
“Excuse me,” she said to the butt in question.
“Hey,” the owner of the butt said. He looked vaguely hungover, and he was dressed in a varsity jacket and skinny jeans. Which was interesting, because their college didn’t have sports teams with varsity jackets, which meant he had possibly acquired......

TOM CRUISE. Tom Cruise is an honest-to-God psychopath, there's no denying it. But goddamn if he doesn't frickin’ go for it. Unfortunately, the first and only other Mission Impossible movie I've been subjected to is the second one, and it was so god-awful bad that the idea of seeing another one was incomprehensible to me. A job is a job though, so I went into this movie with all my cringe shields up, prepared to tear it a new one...
Welcome back to your monthly instalment of Echo Eats, where we review and hunt for food to enhance your student experience here at Sunway. This month, we tackle a fast food classic: the hamburger.
The original hamburger was invented in Texas in the late 1880s. Since its introduction, it has evolved into the global food phenomenon that’s been known and loved for decades, and undergone several iterations, most notably the McDonald’s Big Mac. With an estimated 900 million sold annually, this classic burger continues to feed happy customers 51 years after its introduction, practically ruling the fast food market.
Google I/O Extended KL (IOxKL) is an annual developer conference which is hosted by Google Developers Group Kuala Lumpur (GDGKL). This event is spread and echoed from the original I/O talk from Mountain View, California which took place earlier this year in May, to other programmers and Google Developers here in Malaysia. There were many partners that were involved in this event such as MoneyLion, Nettium, Nintex, Agmo, iFlix and Time. Other supporters such as Google, Sunway University, GDG KL and Sunway Tech Club played a significant part of this event that made it possible.

We all love movies. Whether it is a nerve-wracking horror movie, or a colorful eye-popping musical film, all of them possess the same aspects. These include key elements such as actors, plot, screenplay, visuals, themes, audio, special effects and other miscellaneous details. Thus, have you ever wondered how your very own life would be like if it were portrayed as a movie? Or if everything in life, was generally morphed into a movie-like atmosphere?
Good day to you sirs and madams alike! I’m back again with a spoiler-free movie review for Ant-Man and The Wasp, sequel to Ant-Man (2015) and Marvel’s latest money vortex to roll off the production line.
It’s a comedy, through and through, almost trying to swerve into rom-com territory but pulling back to make space for all the mandatory action sequences. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are cute as Ant-Man and The Wasp. They kick a lot of ass, but they’re cute as all hell while doing it. (Side note, why is the word ‘ass’ censored in cinemas but not, say, the ‘S’ or ‘B’ word?). Most of our laughs come from Luis, played by Michael Peña, as he plays the sidekick to the sidekick along with his own bunch of little sidekicks.
