In 1990, Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi founded the Malaysia Book of Records to provide Malaysians and their incredible feats with the recognition they deserve for their trailblazing spirit to push human potential to its limit. Currently, they are the home of over 7,000 proudly Malaysian-made records.
Now, let us travel back in time to the first day of July. That day, Sunway’s Communication students created a record by dancing. Yes, dancing! They organised an event called Unity Flash Mob, where students danced simultaneously at 15 different locations around Bandar Sunway.
